DUKE OF SUSSEX

PRINCE AUGUSTUS FREDERICK, sixth son of his majesty, was born Jan. 27, 1773. On NOV. 7, 1801, he was created duke of Sussex and earl of Inverness, in Great Britain, and baron of Arklow, in Ireland. The marriage of his royal highness to lady Augusta Murray, daughter of John, earl of Dunmore, being contrary to the provisions of the statute, 12 Geo. III. c. 11. has been declared null and void.  He is a knight of the Garter.

DUKE OF CAMBRIDGE

Prince ADOLPHUS FREDERICK, youngest son of his majesty, was born Feb. 24, 1774.  On Nov. 27, 1807, he was created duke of Cambridge, earl of Tipperary, in Ireland, and baron of Culloden, in Scotland. He is a knight
of the Garter, a lieutenant-general in the army, colonel of the second, or Coldstream regiment of foot guards, and colonel of the king's German legion.
