Alnesbourn Priory, or Alvesbrunna, is situated near the river, between St.
Clement's, in Ipswich, and Nacton, in the ancient parish of Hallowtree, now
extra-parochial, and is sometimes written Alborn, Alnesburne, and Alensborne; it
