Jesus never said he was “God” nor that he was an only son this came later when Constantine, a pagan and who knew nothing of the Christine faith nor it’s practise called a meeting of Nicaeea from which the “Creed” was first prepared. Yet the church today does not acknowledge he had a brother JAMES the righteous who became the head of the church in Jerusalem in 62AD. Surely he was the first Pope?

Before this Paul was starting his own church in opposition to Peter. In those far off days this new Christian church was far from a loving group of believers.

With my reading of scripture I found nothing to support the Roman Church’s claim that Mary was a Virgin and that she had no other children What I found was the reverse and to me that makes me think this church I supported was corrupt.

The history of the Popes is nothing to be proud of the treatment of Galileo in 1633. Origin of the Species… Charles Darwin?? The sale of Indulgences together with the living styles of Popes and Bishops who lived in Palaces far from the teaching of Christ! These Popes used their power to excommunication to force their will. These Church leaders could licence themselves and their clergy to keep mistresses yet at the same time set themselves a life of celibacy.

Having done so they then preached against birth control and divorce. With a population ever rising this just does not make sense. For to bring unwanted children into the world is a bigger sin than to bow to the sex urge.

Further the Christian church making Sex a sin with the threat of Hell Fire makes the sin unfair for we are all different some are over sexed while others are cold and under sexed. What a lot they have to answer. It is said that 2 out of every 5 barstards was a child of a priest. David Cardinal Beaton Archbishop of St Andrews had 11 sons and 4 daughters.

At the same time with all this past way the church has let itself become so evil, fowl and rotten, I still believe there is something out there . I still call it GOD and I still attend communion every Sunday, why I am not sure, call it habit! I still say my prayers every night perhaps to make sure I do not forget those I love yet who are far away.

Having my lovely daughter Clare die so young, Seeing her last smile and look in her eyes indicating complete contentment made me feel there must be something else, clearly someone or something else was guiding her for she put everything right in her last minutes of life. Something which brought great contentment. Clearly this showed in her eyes happiness she passed to us all who were sitting by her deathbed.

To do so often called for courage, as the founder of modern medicine the English Doctor William Harvey realised when he found himself well-nigh ruined by the fury which greed his account of the circulation of the blood.
